My journey has begun...
South America
My journey began as a dream in Central America. I wandered from surf towns in Guatemala to volcanoes in El Salvador, and from there to the wild beaches of Nicaragua. I lived in a true paradise.
After four months – the money was gone. Every shekel I had saved simply evaporated. I sat alone in a cafe in Leon, desperately searching for return flights, feeling like the great journey had been cut short just before the climax.
I was a second away from booking a ticket, but a strong intuition whispered to me that this was not the end yet – but just the beginning of something completely different.
The spark

Outside the cafe I met a local artist. I offered him a cheeky deal: “Teach me how to make – and I’ll sell the jewelry to tourists in Spanish.” He smiled, and agreed to teach me the secret of knotting.
I made my first bracelet – a faded blue thread that reminded me of the ocean. I approached two local women with fake confidence and a smile, and the bracelet sold immediately. 10 cordobas.
At that moment I realized: I don't need a plane ticket back home. I don't need to go back, I need to just keep creating.
